The Venus scooters were a German variant of the popular Italian Vespa. These scooters were produced between 1953 and 1955 by Venus GmbH Fahrzeugbau in Donauwörth. They used engines from Fichtel & Sachs, with different models that had 100cc, 150cc or 175cc single-cylinder 2-stroke engines.

Each model had slight differences in design. The DS 100, for example, had a single saddle and no spare wheel, which gave it a simple and light look. The MS 175, on the other hand, offered more comfort with a double saddle and a spare wheel at the rear, which was ideal for longer rides.

These scooters were intended as a practical and affordable solution for city transport and short trips in the 1950s, combining simplicity, reliability and a charming design, inspired by the Italian Vespa but adapted to German needs.
